To simply wake up everyday 
With breath of earthly life upon our lungs 
Is an enough sign that miracles are real
No matter what others think or say

Miracles are God’s grace and mercy
Despite what we are and what we are not
We are granted countless chances 
To become better in this journey

We face different challenges, but
Life really leads us to certain situations 
Where we need to choose between
What is good and what is not

Today is another chance to live life right. To leave the darkness and choose the light.

Yet despite the many wrong choices
And bad decisions we make
The new day is a gift
This gift of new chances

It’s true that we cannot change yesterday
And the past we must leave behind
But we have the power and control
Over what we can do today

To be better than what we were
To make new, and hopefully, better choices
